Whitelist Us

Most email programs have a measure of spam protection in place to prevent users from seeing unwanted emails. However, sometimes those programs put new, unrecognized emails such as our newsletter directly into spam by accident. To ensure that you always receive our newsletter, you must add the address info@investingfutures.com to your email program’s Safe Sender List or Address book. Below are specific instructions on how to whitelist us in your email program.

Yahoo

To whitelist info@investingfutures.com with Yahoo!, you will need to set up a “filter” after first taking the following steps:

  • If you find email from info@investingfutures.com is going to your Yahoo! bulk folder, open it and click “Not Spam”
  • Be sure that the address info@investingfutures.com is not in your “Blocked Addresses” list. If info@investingfutures.com is on your “Blocked Addresses” list, select it and click “Remove Block”

Now to create the filter:

  • Open your mail and click on “Mail Options” in the upper right hand corner
  • Select ‘Filters’ (in the bottom left corner)
  • On the Filters page, click “Add”
  • Select the “From header:” rule, and add “contains” and info@investingfutures.com, which tells the system to put email with info@investingfutures.com in your inbox and not the bulk folder.
  • Click the “Choose Folder” pull down menu and select ‘Inbox’
  • Pick the Add Filter button

Gmail

  • First, if you find email from us in your Gmail spam folder, select our email and click the “Not Spam” button
  • Next, open an email that you have received from us
  • Click on the little down-pointing-triangle-arrow next to “Reply”:
  • Click “Add Investing Futures to Contacts list”

Hotmail

To whitelist our address with Hotmail you will need to add info@investingfutures.com to your Hotmail Safe List. Here’s how:

  • First, if you find email from us in your Hotmail junk folder, open the email and click “Not Junk”
  • Next, check to see if if the info@investingfutures.com info@investingfutures.com is on your Blocked Senders list. If you find info@investingfutures.com on your Hotmail blocked senders list, select it and click on the “Remove” button.
  • Next, open your mailbox and click “Options” in the upper right hand corner
  • At the top of the page, click on the “Junk E-mail Protection” link
  • Next, click on “Safe List”, which is down near the bottom
  • Copy and paste info@investingfutures.com where it says “Type an address or domain”
  • Click the “Add” button

MSN

  • Open your latest Investing Futures e-mail.
  • Copy the address in the “From” line.
  • Click on Settings: E-mail | Junk e-mail (it’s at the bottom left of the screen, just above Calendar).
  • On the E-mail settings screen, click Junk E-Mail Guard.
  • Select Safe List.
  • In the space provided under “Add people to the safe list”, enter the address you copied from the “From” line.
  • Click Add.

For older versions of MSN, you add our sending address to your Safe List like this:

  • Open your latest Investing Futures e-mail.
  • Copy the address in the “From” line.
  • Click on E-mail settings (it’s at the bottom left of the screen, just above Calendar).
  • On the E-mail settings screen, click Junk Mail.
  • Select Safe List.
  • Click Add an item to this list.
  • When the Add To Safe List box appears, enter the address you copied from the “From” line into the space provided.
  • Click Add.

AOL

To add info@investingfutures.com to your AOL address book:

  • Open an email from us and then click the ‘This Is Not Spam’ button
  • Click the Mail menu and select Address Book
  • Wait for the Address Book window to pop up, then click the ‘Add’ button
  • Wait for the Address Card for New Contact window to load
  • Paste info@investingfutures.com into the ‘Other E-Mail’ field
  • Make our “From” address, info@investingfutures.com, the Primary E-Mail address by checking the appropriate box
  • Click “Save”

Apple Mail

First, if email from info@investingfutures.com ends up in your junk folder, highlight or open it and click “Not Junk” at the top of your screen.

Then:

  • Go to Mail > Preferences from your Mail menu
  • Go to the Rules tab
  • Select Add Rule
  • Give this rule a name such as “Investing Futures”
  • Create a rule that says “If any of the following conditions are met: ‘From’ ‘Contains’” and then paste in “info@investingfutures.com”
  • From the actions, select ‘Move message’ to mailbox ‘Inbox’.
  • Click “OK”

Outlook 2010

  • Select the Home tab.
  • In the Delete group, click the Junk button.
  • From the drop-down list, select Junk E-mail Options….
  • Select the Safe Senders tab.
  • For each sender you want to whitelist:
  • Click the Add… button.
  • In the Enter an e-mail address or Internet domain name to be added to the list. text box, type the e-mail address of the person you want to whitelist.
  • Click OK.
  • If not already checked, place a check in the Also trust e-mail from my Contacts check box.
  • Click OK.

Outlook 2007

  • On the Tools menu, click Options
  • On the Preferences tab, click Junk E-mail
  • On the Safe Senders tab, click Add
  • Add info@investingfutures.com where it says “Add address”
  • Click OK

Comcast

  • Log in to your Comcast account
  • Go to https://customer.comcast.com/Secure/UserSettings
  • Go to Email Setting Sab
  • Click the Email Safe List from Off to On
  • Click Edit
  • Add info@investingfutures.com in the box
  • Click “Save”

Bellsouth.net

  • Open info@investingfutures.com and click Address Book.
  • Click Add New Contact.
  • In the display name field, type the name to display for the sender.
  • In the email field, type in sender info@investingfutures.com.
  • Click the Save button when done.

SBCGlobal.net

SBCGlobal will deliver anything that comes from a Contact address in your Address Book directly to your inbox. So, you’ll need to add our From address to your Address Book.

  • First, get the From address from your most recent email from us.
  • Open your SBCGlobal Address Book.
  • Click the Add Contact button.
  • Type or paste into the space provided the From address from your most recent email from us.
  • Click Save Contact.

Live.com Windows Live Mail

  • Click Options in the upper right corner of your Hotmail screen.
  • In the body of the page under Junk e-mail click the link Safe and blocked senders.
  • Click the link Safe senders.
  • Enter the info@investingfutures.com you want to whitelist.
  • Click Add to list.

RoadRunner.com

Method 1:

  • Find a message that’s from us somewhere in your Roadrunner mailbox.
  • Select that message.
  • Click the Add Contact button. (It’s a rather small icon next to the From address.)

Method 2:

  • First, get the From address from your most recent email from us.
  • Click the Contacts button.
  • Select New Contact.
  • You’ll see the Brief View, which is fine for this purpose. In the space provided, type or paste the From address from your most recent email from us. Enter a Display Name to go with this Contact. (You can’t create a contact without one.)
  • Click OK.

Cox.net

  • Go to the webmail inbox window.
  • Click the subject to open the message from the info@investingfutures.com you want to save.
  • Click the blue figure with the plus sign, located to the right of the info@investingfutures.com in the From: or To: fields.
  • Result: The Add to Personal Addresses pop-up window displays at the pop-up window, click the checkbox next to the info@investingfutures.com you want to add, then click OK.

Att.net

  • Open your latest email.
  • Copy the address in the “From” line.
  • Click the “Address Book” link in the left navigation menu.
  • Click “Add Contact” at the top of your Address Book.
  • Under the General tab, paste the previously copied info@investingfutures.com into the box under the specified info@investingfutures.com box.
  • Click “Save.”

Verizon.net

  • Go to your Verizon Inbox.
  • Click Options.
  • Select the Block Senders tab (near the top of the screen).
  • On the Block Senders screen, you’ll see both a “Block Sender List” and a “Safe List”. In the space where it says, “Enter e-mail address or sub domain to always accept even if the domain is blocked”, enter the address in the “From” line of your most recent Investing Futures email.

Earthlink.net

  • Open your latest Investing Futures e-mail.
  • Copy the address in the “From” line.
  • Click on Address Book (it’s over on the left, below your Folders).
  • When your Address Book opens, click the Add button.
  • On the Add Contact screen, find the Internet Information box.
  • Enter the address you copied from the “From” line into the top Email box.
  • Click Save

Optonline.net

  • After successfully logging into your webmail account, click the Options tab (located at the top of the page) which will bring you to your Account Summary screen.
  • From there, select the Anti-Spam Settings button located on the left-side of the screen.
  • At the next screen, choose Click here to modify your anti-spam settings.
  • This will take you to the next screen where you will have to again log-in.
  • The next step is select the modify SpamAway button.
  • It will then ask if you really would like to change the current option for your account.
  • If yes, then click the Disable Anti-Spam button.

Thunderbird

  • First, if you find email from info@investingfutures.com in your Junk folder, right-click on our email and choose “Mark as Not Junk”
  • Next, click the Address Book button
  • Highlight the Personal Address Book
  • Click on “New Card”
  • In the “Contact” tab of the new card, copy and paste info@investingfutures.com to the email dialog box
  • Click “Ok”
  • Next, to whitelist your address book, select “Tools > Junk Mail Controls” from the drop down menu
  • Update the “White Lists” module under the “Settings” tab by selecting “Personal Address Book” from the drop down menu, and then check the box next to “Do not mark messages as junk mail”
  • Click “Ok”

Postini

  • Log into your Postini account
  • Look to see if any email from info@investingfutures.com is listed in your Junk area
  • If you find email from info@investingfutures.com in the Junk area, check the check box next to the email from info@investingfutures.com
  • Click the “Deliver Selected” link at the very top of the Junk screen
  • On the next screen, click the “Approve Sender” check box next to the email from info@investingfutures.com
  • Click the “Approve Selected Senders” button
